Top Makeup Products for People with Dry, Sensitive, Acne-Prone Skin

As someone who has dealt with breakouts and clogged pores while also having extremely dry skin, I have tested endless amounts of makeup until I finally found the right products that suit my skin. I focused on choosing products that don't clog pores, don't dry out my skin, and have clean ingredients. Here is the breakdown of what I found.

Primer: Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer ($36.00 at Sephora)

I have found this primer to be hydrating and doesn't make my makeup look oily. It also makes my skin look smooth and keeps my makeup on. It does not have 100% clean ingredients, but it does not irritate my skin or clog my pores.

CC Cream: It Cosmetics CC+ Cream ($47.00 at Sephora)

I do not use foundation because they are too thick and clogs my pores. This CC cream does not contain the best ingredients. However, it is lightweight and does not clog my pores or make my skin break out. It is also full coverage, and a little goes a long way.

Concealer: Tower 28 Beauty Hydrating Serum Concealer ($22.00 at Sephora)

This concealer is also a serum; it covers dark circles and contains clean ingredients. It is also lightweight and does not clog my pores.

Concealer: Hourglass Vanish Concealer ($36.00 at Sephora)

This concealer is pricey, so I do not use it on an everyday basis but it is stunning. It is incredibly flawless, covers all blemishes, and does not clog my pores. If this concealer wasn't so pricey I would use it on a daily basis.

Powder: Huda Beauty GloWish Blurring Pressed Powder ($33.00 at Sephora)

I love this powder; it has clean ingredients, sets my makeup flawlessly, does not make me look cakey, and is extremely lightweight on the skin.

Bronzer: Ilia NightLite Bronzer Powder ($34.00 at Kohl's)

Another product that is full of clean ingredients. I prefer a powder bronzer rather than a cream bronzer; however, if you prefer a cream bronzer, the Rare Beauty Bronzing Stick is also great and suits my skin. This Ilia powder bronzer blends beautifully into the skin; although I have dry skin, the powder does not affect it.

Blush: Huda Beauty GloWish Cheeky Soft Glow Powder Blush ($21.00 at Sephora)

This blush is from the same line as the powder, it is also clean ingredients is buildable and stays on all day. If you prefer a liquid blush I have tried the Rare Beauty liquid blush and it does not break me out or affect my dry skin.

Highlighter: Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter ($25.00 at Sephora)

I love how soft and smooth this highlighter is, it is also lightweight and is gorgeous on the skin.

As for eye products, I use the Loreal Telescopic Mascara and NYX eyeliner crayon. I stick to drugstore brands for my eye products because I go through them more often and is more cost efficient. This list of products took a lot of testing, trial and error until I found what was right for me. I stick to higher end brands because they include clean ingredients that do not clog my pores. I hope you find this list helpful.
