Favorite Fashion Items for Spring/Summer 2024

This Spring/Summer season is full of new fashion trends and trends that are making a return. Here are some of the trends I have seen in stores and am excited to wear this Spring/Summer.

1. Linen Pants 

Linen pants are always a stable in my wardrobe as the weather changes, they keep me cool and can be dressed up or down. My current favroites are from Abercrombie and Zara.

2. Leather Jackets

Spring and Summer evenings can get cool, I always keep a jacket with me when I go out at night. I have been loving faux leather jackets as they come in so many different styles; bomber, moto, shacket, etc. My current favorites are from Zara and Aritzia.

3. Non-basic Basics

My closet is full of basics which I can use to make endless amounts of outfits. Basics give a simplistic look while still looking chic. My favorite places to get basics are H&M and Aritzia.

4. Casual Officewear

Recently I've been looking for dress pants, blazers, and office tops but instead I've been pairing them with casual pieces to make a casual look. My favroite places to find officewear is Abercrombie and Aritzia.

5. Soft Blue

I've noticed the color of Spring this year is a very soft blue. It pairs well with different colors and can create an edgy or chic outfit depending what color you pair it with.

6. Openwork knitting

Many designers have been making knit pieces with big openings and are meant to be layered. On a cooler spring day I like to pair one of these pieces with a tank top. My current favorite openwork knit top if from Zara.

Trends are fun to follow, but fashion is an expression you can use trends and trending pieces and combine them with other pieces to create outfits that fit your style.
